We offer two on-floor system types that don’t require sub-floor clearance, allowing for installation in a variety of sites and buildings. The first type is a fully self-contained, heated, true composting system, which turns your waste into ready-to-bury humus – this is the EcoLet™ 240 Range. The second type, the EcoLet™ Separera Mini, is a compact system which offers urine diversion or urine containment for small bathrooms or mobile homes.

The 240 Range is an award-winning design which features advanced technology like heating elements and automatic mixing. It is the only true zero-leachate system on the market, and is a true composter that creates nutrient-rich compost that’s usable direct from the tray!

The Separera Mini is a compact system that features urine diversion, offering both a containment option via a liquids container, and a urine diversion to soak-away option for situations where the land can receive discharge.

History

1970s

EcoLet™ has been at the forefront of the composting toilet industry since its inception in the 1970s. Founded by passionate environmentalist Sture Andersson, EcoLet™ recognized the need for a more sustainable approach to waste management. At a time when flushing toilets were the norm, the founders of EcoLet™ sought to create a convenient, easy-to-use alternative that would minimize water usage while also producing high-quality compost.

1973

The company released its first self-contained composting toilet in 1972. A year later, in 1973, EcoLet™ won the gold medal for Outstanding Design on an Environmental Product at the International Inventors Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland.

Urine Diversion Systems

EcoLet™ offers urine diversion systems for both mobile and residential applications. Hit the road in an RV with a urine container model or install a urine diversion to soak-away model in your home, bach or outhouse.
